NEW Apple Tech Unveiled! Featuring iPad Air

New Apple iPad

Apple has once again redefined portable computing with the introduction of the new iPad Air, now powered by the formidable M3 chip. This latest iteration brings an unprecedented leap in performance, featuring Apple’s advanced graphics architecture for the first time in an iPad Air. Offering up to double the speed of its predecessor with M1 and up to 3.5 times the performance of models equipped with the A14 Bionic chip, the new iPad Air is engineered for both productivity and entertainment.

Next-Level Performance with M3

The M3 chip transforms the iPad Air into a powerhouse, enabling users to engage in demanding tasks such as content creation and high-intensity gaming with remarkable ease. The chip features an 8-core CPU that is 35 percent faster than the M1, alongside a 9-core GPU that delivers a 40 percent boost in graphics performance. For the first time, iPad Air supports dynamic caching, hardware-accelerated mesh shading, and ray tracing, ensuring a significantly more immersive gaming and content creation experience.

Built for Apple Intelligence

The new iPad Air is designed to support Apple Intelligence, providing users with cutting-edge AI capabilities. Features such as the Clean Up tool in Photos allow users to remove unwanted elements with ease, while Image Wand in Notes enhances sketches dynamically. Apple Intelligence also brings advancements like Image Playground, Genmoji, and enhanced Siri interactions, making the iPad Air an even more intuitive and intelligent device.

Apple has introduced an all-new Magic Keyboard specifically designed for iPad Air. It features a larger built-in trackpad, a 14-key function row for quick access to essential controls, and a magnetic attachment system that ensures seamless connectivity. The keyboard’s floating design enhances usability, while the machined aluminium hinge provides an additional USB-C charging port. The iPad Air is also compatible with Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil (USB-C), further expanding its creative potential.

Expanded Size Options and Stunning Display

For the first time, the iPad Air is available in two sizes: an ultra-portable 11-inch model and a larger 13-inch variant, which offers more screen real estate for professional and creative tasks. Both models feature vibrant, high-resolution displays designed to maximize clarity and colour accuracy, ensuring an exceptional visual experience for all users.

Enhanced Connectivity and Software Advancements

Equipped with fast wireless 5G connectivity, the iPad Air ensures smooth and seamless online experiences. The introduction of iPadOS 18 brings even more capabilities, including enhanced multitasking, smart handwriting recognition, and a redesigned Control Centre for easier navigation and customization.

Sustainable Design and Environmental Commitment

Apple continues its commitment to sustainability with the new iPad Air, which features at least 30 percent recycled materials, including a 100 percent recycled aluminium enclosure. The packaging is now entirely fibre-based, aligning with Apple’s goal to eliminate plastic from its packaging by the end of the year.

Pricing and Availability

The 11-inch iPad Air starts at £599, while the 13-inch model is priced at £799. Special pricing is available for educational customers, with the 11-inch version starting at £549 and the 13-inch variant at £749. The new iPad Air and Magic Keyboard are available for pre-order now, with official availability beginning on March 12.
